Paxton and Hit Marketing
Paxton Gray is a graduate of the famous Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in advertising. After college, he went to work for Hit Web Design, staying there for over two years. While at Hit, Paxton worked to develop and promote marketing pieces for the company. He generated more than a million dollars in direct revenue during the first year, helping the agency grow. While a member of the team at Hit Marketing, Paxton Gray received four “Excellence in Customer Service” commendations.
Back to His Roots
In June of 2009, Gray returned to his Alma Mater, Brigham Young University, to work as a Project Manager in the BYU AdLab. There he created projects for mainstream companies like Nestle, Pepsico, and L’Oreal. In 2019, Paxton Gray became an Adjunct Professor at BYU teaching Introduction to SEO and Analytics.

Before leveling up to the position of Executive Vice President, Gray served as the Director of SEO for almost three years and Campaign Manager for a little over a year. His first year at 97th Floor, he took on the responsibility of training new employees as well as leading a small team of marketers and content producers.
He has been an intricate member of the team at the 97th Floor for almost seven years. This well-respected marketing agency has mainstream clients such as Salesforce, Symantec, LogMein, and the New York Times.
On top of that, Paxton has certifications from BrightEdge, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
Volunteer Work
Paxton serves as the Vice President of the Board for Utah’s Marketing Collective. Their mission is to establish the states’ digital marketing scene as the top in the country. Utah DMC serves as a local resource for small businesses looking for actionable marketing solutions.
He is also the Founding Board Member of Industry Engaged in Education, an organization that provides insight on workforce needs and curriculum development. Paxton does marketing for The Road Home, as well, a nonprofit that helps the homeless in Salt Lake Country and the Wasatch Front. They offer services to help people overcome homelessness. In the past, Gray also did marketing for the United Way of Utah County.
When not hard at work at 97th Floor or BYU, Paxton Gray is a public speaker and author.
He has also been a featured speaker at conferences all over the world.
